DOYLESTOWN (PA) -- Stephanie Smolinsky scored with 11:56 remaining to lift Arcadia University to a 2-1 victory over host Delaware Valley College in non-conference field hockey action from Monday.

With the game tied at 1-1, Smolinsky took a feed from Lindsay Ott and put one past Aggie goalkeeper Leigh Stiffler for the game-winner. The Scarlet Knights (7-2) had taken an early 1-0 lead as Jessica Zbyszinski scored in the first half off a feed from Eileen Mondino.

Delaware Valley (3-6) tied the game in the first five minutes of the second half as freshman Tiffany LaRosa notched her team-best third goal of the season. The Aggies outshot Arcadia, 20-15, in the contest. Stiffler finished with 12 saves.
