Field Hockey - 2002 Season Archive

Head coach Jenn Wolfgang and the Aggies finished the 2002 season with a 6-13 overall record and a 1-4 mark in the Freedom Conference.

Of the 19 players on the roster, 14 were freshmen or sophomores. The young squad recorded 350 shots during the year, just three shy of the single-season record set by both the 1997 and 2001 squads.

Three Aggies were named to the all-Freedom Conference team as sophomore Kristin Cottman (6 goals, 5 assists, 17 points) earned first team honors and junior Sara Astbury (6 goals, 2 assists, 14 points) and freshman Tiffany LaRosa (7 goals, 3 assists, 17 points) were second team honorees.
