AGGIES CAPTURE REACH THE BEACH CHAMPIONSHIP

OCEAN CITY (MD) -- The Delaware Valley College cheerleading team took first-place honors at the Reach The Beach National Championships over the weekend.

The Aggies, who won the event for the second time in the last three years, topped Nassau Community College and SUNY-Brockport for the title in the All Girl College Small Advanced Division.

Team members are seniors Jen DeLucia, Sara Schwartz and Brandy Wakeman; juniors Jess Brown, Kelly Harding and Ashley Vulpi; sophomores Ashley Groff, Joss Hollway and Sarah Vrabel; and freshmen Shannon Collins, Kourtney Conti, Liz Farsi, MacKenzie Gerlach, Deanne Larson, Heather Maurer, Cathy Novak, Nicole Sellers-Hansen and Sarah Winterbottom.
