DONOHUE NAMED TO D3HOOPS.COM ALL-REGION TEAM

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Delaware Valley College senior guard Moira Donohue (Philadelphia, PA/Cardinal Dougherty) has been named to the D3hoops.com All-Mid Atlantic Region Third Team following a standout season.

Donohue, a two-time all-Freedom Conference honoree led the conference and set a Delaware Valley single-season record for 3-pointers with 76 (2.9 avg). She also paced the squad and placed in the conference's top five in scoring (third - 17.2 avg), assists (third - 3.7 avg) and steals (fifth - 2.4 avg). She hit double figures in scoring in 23 of 26 games, including a career-best 33 points in a double-overtime win over Drew University.

Donohue's senior campaign also saw her break the school's all-time record for 3-pointers with 189. She finished third in school history in both assists (349) and steals (243) and placed fifth in scoring with 1,336 points.

Donohue and Delaware Valley finished the 2007-08 campaign with a 13-13 overall record and a 7-5 mark (tied for third place) in the Freedom. The Aggies qualified for the conference playoffs for the sixth time in the last eight years and dropped a 78-72 decision in the semifinals to eventual Freedom champion and NCAA Division III Sweet 16 participant DeSales University.
