DeSales University 67, Delaware Valley 49

CENTER VALLEY (PA) - DeSales University went on a 19-0 run in the first half as the Bulldogs posted a 67-49 victory over visiting Delaware Valley College in a Freedom Conference game.

The Aggies held a 13-10 lead with 9:40 remaining in the first half as Bridget Golden sank a jumper. However, DeSales (12-3, 4-1) scored 19 straight to open up a 16-point lead with 1:38 to go before the break.

Delaware Valley pulled to within nine, 51-42 with 3:57 remaining when Moira Donohue drilled a 3-pointer, but the Bulldogs, behind four points by Jen Netwall and two by Alyssa Antolick, scored the next six to put the game out of reach.

Golden had a strong game for Delaware Valley as she notched 16 points, 17 rebounds and four blocks. In the process, the senior center became the Aggies' all-time leader in blocked shots with 173 and moved into seventh on the all-time scoring list with 1,099 points.

Antolick scored a game-high 19 points while Netwall and Jenn Osborne contributed 11 points apiece in the victory.
