Women's Basketball - 2004-05 Season Head
coach Laura Hogan and the Aggies finished the 2004-05 season with a 12-12 overall
record and a 4-10 mark in the Freedom Conference.
Delaware Valley began
the season by capturing the Frostburg State Jim Crawley Classic Championship.
The Aggies set a school record for points in a game with a 111-75 rout of Hood
College in the opening round, and notched a 61-53 victory over eventual NCAA qualifier
Frostburg State the next day in the championship game. Senior center Bridget
Golden concluded her record-setting career by earning second team, all-conference
honors. She averaged a double-double (13.7 points, 11.7 rebounds) for the third
straight year and became the Aggies' all-time leader in both rebounds (984) and
blocked shots (201). She finished fifth on the career scoring list with 1,257
points. Freshman point guard Shannon O'Neill was voted by the Freedom Conference
coaches as the co-Rookie of the Year. She averaged seven points per game and placed
in the conference's top 10 in three categories, including assists where she was
