Chestnut Hill College 78, Delaware Valley 71

PHILADELPHIA (PA) - The Delaware Valley College women's basketball team dropped its third in a game in a row with a 78-71 setback at Chestnut Hill College in a non-conference game. The Aggies are now 6-4 on the season while the Griffins improved to 4-6.

Delaware Valley shot just 31.7 percent from the field (19-for-60) while Chestnut Hill hit 53.4 percent of its shots (31-for-58). The Aggies did get to the foul line 46 times but made just 31 of their attempts.

Four Delaware Valley players reached double figures in scoring, led by Bridget Golden's 17 points. She also added nine rebounds and four assists. Rachel Joyce added 16 points while Shannon McCormick and Kate McCarty netted 13 and 10 points respectively.

Bethann Ceetone paced the Grffins with 20 points.
