Delaware Valley 72, Arcadia University 63

GLENSIDE (PA) -- Bridget Golden scored 25 points and grabbed 17 rebounds to lead the Delaware Valley College women's basketball team to a 72-63 victory over host Arcadia University in a non-conference game.

The win improved the Aggies to 6-1 on the season. It was the team's first game since December 7. The Knights fell to 1-5.

Golden hit nine of 19 shots from the field and went 7-for-9 on the foul line. She also added four blocks and two assists in 37 minutes of action.

Juli McGowan hit four 3-pointers en route to an 18-point afternoon while Kate McCarthy finished with 11 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

Delaware Valley led by 15, 38-23, at the intermission and built the advantage to as many as 20 in the second half.
