| Women's Basketball - 2003-04 Season
Head
coach Laura Hogan and the Aggies finished the 2003-04 season with
a 12-13 overall record and a 7-7 mark in the Freedom Conference
as the squad qualified for the conference playoffs for the fourth
consecutive year and their fifth berth in the last six seasons.
Delaware Valley finished tied for fourth place with Lycoming College
in the conference but held the playoff tiebreaker edge thanks to
a 65-60 victory over 20th-ranked DeSales University in January.
The Aggies traveled to fourth-ranked University of Scranton for
the semifinals and fell by a 96-64 score.
Junior center Bridget Golden earned first team all-Freedom Conference
honors and was also selected to the all-Mid Atlantic Region squad
(second team). She finished the year as the Freedom Conference's
leading rebounder (10.8 avg) and shot blocker (2.4 avg) while also
placing second in scoring an average of 16 points per game. Golden
notched 16 double-doubles in the 25 contests.
