Delaware Valley 67, FDU-Florham 63

MADISON (NJ) -- Bridget Golden scored 24 points and stole an inbounds pass with 2.7 seconds remaining to lead Delaware Valley College to a 67-63 road victory over FDU-Florham in a Freedom Conference game.

Trailing 65-63 with eight secons left, the Devils (7-9, 1-6 Freedom) had the ball looking for a final shot, but Kathryn Pearson's turnaround jumper banked off the glss and rolled around the rim and out. FDU-Florham recovered the rebound and called timeout with 2.7 seconds left.

Golden foiled the Devil's last hopes as she stole the inbounds pass and was fouled with 0.4 seconds remaining. She hit both free throws to ice the game. Golden was 12-for-14 from the foul line and finished with a game-high four blocked shots.

Amber Smolinsky added 13 points and four assists in the victory while Kate McCarthy had nine points.
