Delaware Valley 74, Cabrini College 65

RADNOR (PA) - Junior forward Shannon McCormick scored a career-high 25 points and added seven rebounds as Delaware Valley College picked up its second in a win in a row with a 74-65 triumph at Cabrini College on Saturday.

McCormick, who earlier in the week notched 20 points in a win over Goucher, topped that mark by hitting 10 of 20 shots from the field, including a 3-for-5 performance from 3-point land. She was also a perfect 2-for-2 from the foul line in 34 minutes of play.

The Aggies (3-7) led by 19 at halftime, 43-24, and built the advantage up to as many as 23 points in the second half. They held a 58-47 advantage on the boards.

Senior guard Amber Smolinsky added 19 points, five assists and four steals while sophomore Jackie Hartell scored 12 points off the bench. Centers Bridget Golden and Sarah Tuffner had 12 rebounds apiece in the victory.
