Gwynedd-Mercy College 102, Delaware Valley College 61

GWYNEDD VALLEY (PA) - Gwynedd-Mercy College shot 55.7 percent from the field as the Griffins recorded a 102-61 victory over visiting Delaware Valley College in a non-conference game.

Gwynedd-Mercy (8-2) scored 14 of the first 18 points of the contest and never looked back. It connected on 39 of 70 shots from the field, including a 21-for-35 (60 percent) effort in the first half that saw the Griffins take a 51-30 advantage. They hit 10 treys in the game and held a 47-32 advantage on the boards.

Twelve different Gwynedd-Mercy players hit the scoring column, led by Dave Smith's 22 points on 11-for-15 shooting. Matt Johnson added 15 points while Dan Delconte and Haven Wroten also hit double figures with 12 and 10 points respectively.

Zack Van Dyke paced the Aggies (1-10) with 12 points while Brian Hilinski notched 11 points and seven rebounds. Jason Seipt added eight points, six assists and four steals in the loss.
