FDU-Florham 85, Delaware Valley College 79

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Freshman center Ricky Fetske scored 25 points, including eight in the final 2:26 to key a 14-4 run as FDU-Florham posted an 85-79 victory over host Delaware Valley College in a Freedom Conference game.

Both teams saw its overall record move to 3-21. The Devils improved to 2-9 in the conference while the Aggies saw their Freedom mark fall to 0-11.

Fetske was 6-for-12 from the field and a perfect 13-for-13 at the foul line. After Delaware Valley took a 75-71 lead on a three-point play by Jason Seipt, Fetske followed with a layup and then assisted on an Andrew Biancosino trey for a 76-75 FDU-Florham lead.

Seipt answered at the other end, but Fetske connected again inside and then after a defensive rebound, hit a pair of free throws for an 80-77 advantage with 50 seconds to go. After Biancosino and Jared Neff combined to go 3-for-4 at the foul line, Fetske ended his night with a pair of free throws with seven seconds to go for an 85-77 lead.

The game featured seven ties and 10 lead changes with the Aggies shooting 51.6 percent from the field in the first half and taking a 42-39 lead into the intermission. FDU-Florham used a 7-0 run midway through the half to take a 63-52 advantage, but Delaware Valley, behind a trio of 3-pointers by Jason Goldheimer and a Seipt trey, went ona 13-2 run that tied the game at 65-65 with 7:15. The Aggies eventually build the lead to four before FDU-Florham's late run.

Goldheimer came off the bench to lead Delaware Valley with 17 points. Seipt finished with 13 points, eight assists and five steals while Matt Beichey added 12 points and seven boards. Seniors Dan MacDonald and Zack Van Dyke combined for 16 points in the final home game of their collegiate careers.
