F&M ROTARY TIP-OFF TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIP
No. 16 Lincoln University 119, Delaware Valley College 90

LANCASTER (PA) - Senior guard Isaiah Pinckney became the 16th player in Delaware Valley College men's basketball history to go over the 1,000-point plateau for a career, but it wasn't enough as 16th-ranked Lincoln University posted a 119-90 victory over the Aggies in the championship game of the Franklin & Marshall College Rotary Tip-Off Tournament.

Pinckney, who scored 32 points in last night's upset of F&M, needed just three points on Saturday to hit the milestone. Down 10-2, Pinckney hit a 3-pointer with 17:15 left in the first half to accomplish the feat.

However, Lincoln, which reached the NCAA Sweet 16 last year, scored 14 of the next 17 points to build a 24-8 advantage. The Lions eventually took a 56-36 lead into halftime and outscored the Aggies, 63-54 in the second stanza.

Pinckney finished with 12 points and was the lone Aggie to be named to the all-tournament team Zack Van Dyke had a big championship game as he hit 11 of 17 shots from the field (4-for-7 from 3-point land) and finished with a career-high 26 points. Van Dyke also added eight rebounds in the game. Ryan Thomas came off the bench to contribute a career-high 18 points and Josh Taylor chipped in 11. Jason Seipt finished with six points and eight assists.

Dwight Dean paced Lincoln with 27 points. Ja'Juan Robinson added 17 points in 24 minutes of action and was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player.
