DeSales University 76, Delaware Valley College 51

CENTER VALLEY (PA) - DeSales University scored 20 of the game's first 22 points, en route to a 76-51, Freedom Conference victory over visiting Delaware Valley College.

The Bulldogs improved to 17-7 overall and 8-5 in the Freedom while the Aggies fell to 5-19, 3-10. Delaware Valley will conclude its season at home against Lycoming College on Saturday.

DeSales opened with 11 straight points and expanded the advantage to 20-2 with 10:30 remaining in the first half. The Bulldogs hit 8 of 13 shots from the field in that stretch and they eventually took a 40-23 lead into the intermission. The Aggies never got closer than 15 points the rest of the way.

Ed Lapinski paced DeSales with 16 points while Steve Kriczky added 13. Phil Stricker notched 13 points and nine rebounds in just 16 minutes of action.

Isaiah Pinckney scored a game-high 20 points for Delaware Valley and, in the process, went over the 1,400-point plateau for his career. The senior guard now has 1,414 points and needs just 14 points in his final game on Saturday to pass 1977 grad Dennis Pastucha for fifth place on the Aggie all-time scoring list.

Jason Seipt came off the bench to score 10 points and notch four steals while Josh Taylor added eight points and six rebounds in the loss.
