Chestnut Hill College 76, Delaware Valley College 59

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Junior forward David Goode was a perfect 13-for-13 for the field and finished with 33 points as Chestnut Hill College registered a 76-59 victory over host Delaware Valley College in a non-conference game.

The 6-foot-7 Goode played 33 minutes in the contest and missed just one shot on the day as he was 7-for-8 from the foul line. He also grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked four shots on the afternoon.

The Aggies (3-9) took a 27-26 lead as Brian Madden converted a pair of free throws with 4:54 remaining in the first half. Goode, who had 22 points in the first half, responded with back-to-back baskets and the Griffins went on to a 15-6 run to take a 41-33 advantage into the intermission.

Chestnut Hill then opened the second half with 13-2 spurt, including six by Goode, to up their lead to 19, 54-35, with 14:57 remaining. Delaware Valley never got closer than 13 the rest of the way.

Shawn Bolling notched 15 points, nine rebounds and six assists for the Griffins while Isaac Greer finished with 11 points, seven boards and five assists.

Isaiah Pinckney paced the Aggies with 19 points and Zack Van Dyke contributed 15 points and 11 rebounds.
