Richard Stockton College 83, Delaware Valley 62

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Richard Stockton College scored the first 12 points of the game and never back as the Ospreys spoiled Delaware Valley College's home opener with an 83-62, non-conference victory.
Richard Stockton improved to 3-1 on the season while the Aggies fell to 0-3.

The Ospreys came flying out from the opening tip and never trailed in the game. They built a 41-25 halftime advantage behind a combined 25 first-half points from Chris Jones (14) and Tobias Smith (11).

Richard Stockton finished the game shooting 49.3 percent (33-for-67) from the field and had 26 assists. The Ospreys also notched 18 steals as they forced 23 Delaware Valley turnovers.

Jones finished with a game-high 22 points while Miguel Rodriguez added 16 points and seven boards. Smith finished with 15 points, six rebounds, six assists and seven steals. Kris Polk ran the show from the point guard position and notched seven points, 12 assists and seven steals.

All-Freedom Conference honoree Isaiah Pinckney led the Aggies with 15 points - all coming in the second half. Ryan Thomas came off the bench to add 12 points while Jason Seipt added nine points and five assists. Zack Van Dyke came off the bench to notch seven points and a game-high 10 rebounds.
