PHILADELPHIA (PA) - Dominque Brown came off the bench to score a game-high 25 points as Delaware Valley College rallied from an eight-point halftime deficit and downed host Chestnut Hill College, 80-74, in a non-conference game.

The victory was the second straight for the Aggies as they finished the first semester of play with a 2-7 record. They will return to action on Tuesday, January 3 (7:00 p.m.) when they host Eastern University.

Brown was 6-for-10 from the field (1-for-1 from 3-point land) and a perfect 12-for-12 from the foul line. The sophomore transfer from Holy Family also added four rebounds, three assists and two steals from his guard position in 30 minutes of action.

Both team shots over 50 percent from the field in the first half with the Griffins (0-6) taking a 46-38 advantage into the intermission. Delaware Valley kept the hot shooting hand in the second half and finished the game 25-for-49 (51.0 percent). The Aggie defense also stepped up and limited Chestnut Hill to just 23.3 percent shooting (7-for-30) over the final 20 minutes.
