CONSOLATION GAME OF THE WYNDHAM READING TIP-OFF
Delaware Valley 104, Mt. Aloysius College 98

READING (PA) -- The Delaware Valley College men's basketball team captured third-place honors at the Wyndham Reading Tip-Tournament by posting a 104-98 victory over Mt. Aloysius in the consolation game.

The Aggies shot 56.3 percent from the field (18-for-32) in the second half as they scored 60 points in those 20 minutes. They outrebounded Mt. Aloysius, 60-44, for the game and survived 40 turnovers to win the game.

Maurice Slaughter scored 18 points on 8-for-11 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds, en route to be named to the all-tournament team. He had 15 points in the opening round loss to Albright Colleg on Friday.

Josh Taylor also scored 18 points as he hit all but one of his eight shots from the field and also added seven rebounds. Meril Branch came off the bench to notch 13 points and 13 rebounds in just 17 minutes of action.

Isaiah Pinckney recorded 13 points, eight rebounds and five assists while Mize Ezell also reached double figures with 12 points. Ezell also added six rebounds and four steals.
