King's College 68, Delaware Valley 45

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - King's College held host Delaware Valley College to just three fields and 15 points in the second half as the Monarchs rallied from a four-point deficit and posted a 68-45 victory in a Freedom Conference game.

The Aggies (2-3, 0-2) jumped out to a 30-26 halftime lead behind 48.1 percent shooting in the first half (13-for-27). Mike Zupa and Orlon Baker combined for 13 points in the half.

However, it was all King's from there, as the Monarchs scored 39 of the first 48 points in the second half to turn the four-point deficit into a 65-39 advantage. They forced 13 turnovers and held Delaware Valley to a 3-for-23 effort from the field in the final 20 minutes.

Brian Horgan finished with a game-high 18 points, including 15 in the second stanza. Marty O'Hara notched a double-double with 17 points and a game-high 12 rebounds while Jim Welsh came off the bench to chip in nine points.

Zupa was the lone Aggie in double figures as he came off the bench to score 10 points in 17 minutes of action. Isaiah Pinckney followed with seven points while Baker finishes with six points, four rebounds and two blocks.
