Delaware Valley 68, Drew University 51

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Delaware Valley College forced 30 Drew University turnovers, en route to a 68-51, Freedom Conference victory.

The Aggies improved to 9-13 overall and 4-7 in the conference while the Rangers dropped their 19th consecutive game and fell to 2-20, 0-11.

Delaware Valley notched 17 steals on the Ranger miscues and held a 24-11 edge in points off of turnovers. The Aggie bench also held a decisive advantage in the game, outscoring Drew, 43-23.

Delaware Valley led 32-27 at halftime and opened the second stanza with six straight for an 11-point advantage. Drew never got closer than four points the rest of the way, while the Aggies built the lead to as many as 19, 62-43, with 3:59 remaining.

Mike Zupa came off the bench to score a game-high 17 points while Randall Graves had 13 points, seven assists, five rebounds and three steals. Orlon Baker also had a big night of the bench as he finished with 11 points, a game-high nine rebounds and four steals.

The Rangers were led by David Cramer's 13 points in 13 minutes of action off the bench. Leon Thomas also reached double figures with 12 points in the loss.
