FDU-Florham 93, Delaware Valley 84

MADISON (NJ) -- Freshmen Isaiah Pinckney, Mike Zupa and Mike Thornton combined for 60 points, but Delaware Valley College dropped a 93-84 road decision to FDU-Florham in a Freedom Conference game.

The Devils (9-10, 4-5) jumped out to a 47-31 halftime lead. Delaware Valley (3-16, 2-7) came out in the second half with an 11-4 run the cut FDU-Florham's lead to nine, but the Aggies could not get any closer than that.

Pinckney shot 8-for-12 from the field and finished with a career-high 23 points. Zupa also had a career night as he connected on five 3-pointers and notched 19 points as well as seven rebounds on the evening. Thornton, the Aggies' leading scorer, added 18 points, seven boards and four assists in the loss.

Jeff Hemschoot paced the Devils with 23 points and 10 rebounds.
