Wilkes University 87, Delaware Valley 63

WILKES-BARRE (PA) -- Wilkes University jumped out to a 17-point halftime lead and never looked back as the Colonels defeated visiting Delaware Valley College, 87-63, in a Freedom Conference game.

The win upped Wilkes' record to 11-3 overall and 3-2 in the conference. The Aggies fell to 5-10, 0-5 with the loss.

Freshman Tim Smink came off the bench to score a team-high 16 points for Delaware Valley. Fellow rookie Kevin Wright also hit double figures with 13 points.
