University of Scranton 76, Delaware Valley College 64

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - The University of Scranton men's basketball team shot 55.6 percent from the field, including a 65.5 percent showing in the first half, as the Royals downed host Delaware Valley College, 76-64, in a Freedom Conference game.

Scranton (16-4, 7-2 Freedom) hit 30 of 54 shots for the evening with a 19-for-29 effort in the first 20 minutes, as the Royals sprinted to a 45-29 halftime lead.

Ryan Rogan paced Scranton with 20 points while Derek Elphick had 14 points and a game-high nine rebounds. Jeff Kane also hit double figures with 11 points.

Sophomore guard Randall Graves led the Aggies (5-14, 0-9) with 16 points, six assists and four steals. Fellow sophomore Josh Wurtz joined Graves in double figures as the forward ended the evening with 10 points.
