DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Tommy Wesner scored 23 points and three teammates
joined him double figures as defending Freedom Conference champion
Lycoming College downed host Delaware Valley College, 92-74.
Wesner hit eight of 19 shots from the field, including a 4-for-9
showing from 3-point land. Jonathan Pribble scored 18 points while
Matthew Stackhouse added 19 points and seven rebounds. L.J. Huggler
also had a big day for the Warriors (12-7, 7-1 Freedom) with 15
points and seven boards.
Lycoming shot 60 percent from the field for the contest and held
a 39-29 advantage on the boards. The Warriors led from start to
finish and built the advantage up to as many as 27, 85-58.
Freshman Tim Smink paced the Aggies (5-13, 0-8) with 13 points while
sophomores Randall Graves and Josh Wurtz finished with 12 points
apiece. Freshman Brian Singer added nine points in 16 minutes of
action.
