Delaware Valley College 16, Crown College 0


FORT PIERCE (FL) - The Delaware Valley College baseball team ended its Spring Break trip on a high note with a 16-0 victory over Crown College (MN).

The win improved the Aggies to 7-5 overall and they ended their 10-game trip to the Sunshine State with a 6-4 mark. The Storm, which were beginning their Spring Break trip, fell to 0-3 on the year.

Kyle Bobb picked up the win as he went five innings and allowed just one hit while striking out five. Delaware Valley spread the wealth on offense, led by Mike Isgro as he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs scored. Zach Jakubowski ended a standout week by going 2-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI.

Delaware Valley is scheduled to return to action at home on Monday, March 24 (1:00 p.m.) when it hosts King's College for a Freedom Conference doubleheader. The two teams will then shift to Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday (3:30 p.m.) for the nine-inning contest of the three-game conference series.
