of varsity play, fell to 5-12.

bottom of the third inning of the first game. They then erupted
for 13 runs on seven hits and were also aided by three Chestnut
Hill errors. In total, 18 men went to the plate and all nine in
the starting lineup scored at least one run in the inning.

led to the first three runs. Kevin Weingart then gave the Aggies
their first hit and the lead for good with an RBI triple. Weingart
added another RBI in the inning with a ground out while Zach Jakubowski,
Kellen Jarrett and Brent Terlecky also had two RBIs apiece in the
stanza.

with two runs scored. Terlecky finished 2-for-2 with three runs
scored and a pair of RBIs. After a shaky first inning, pitcher Mike
Isgro settled down and improved to 4-0 as he went five innings and
allowed three runs and eight hits while fanning five.
Chestnut Hill jumped out to another lead in the first inning, this
time a 4-0 advantage in the nightcap. Three of the four runs came
in as a result of two Delaware Valley errors. The Aggies came right
back in the bottom of the inning and scored three times, including
a two-run double by Dylan Saldutti.
Delaware Valley took a 5-4 lead in the second thanks to back-to-back
RBI singles by Weingart and Jakubowski. The Griffins then tied the
contest in the fourth on an RBI single by Andrew Koziol.
The Aggies took the lead for good in the bottom of the fourth on
RBIs by Jakubowski, Saldutti and Jim Takacs. They then added two
more in the fifth on back-to-back, run-scoring doubles by Jakubowki
and Kyle Bobb for a 10-5 lead.
Chestnut Hill made things interesting in the sixth as a Delaware
Valley error brought in one run and the Griffins put the tying run
at the plate with one out. However, Aggie reliever Rob Galdieiri
notched back-to-back strikeouts to end the threat. In the seventh,
Chestnut Hill got to within three before Chris Albaugh came in and
recorded a strikeout for his first collegiate save.
