DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Delaware Valley College senior third baseman Zach

Conference Player of the Year while teammates Kyle Bobb (Mechanicsburg,
PA/Cumberland Valley) and Mike Isgro (Galloway, NJ/Absegami) also
earned spots on the all-conference team.
Bobb, a senior, was selected by the Freedom coaches as a first team,

the sophomore's performance on the mound also garnered him second

It marks the sixth time since 1998 that an Aggie baseball player
has received the conference's Player of the Year Award. Jakubowski
joins Matt Altieri (1998), Jason Stackhouse (1999) and current assistant

on-base percentage (.529) and also has 39 runs scored, nine doubles,
four home runs and six stolen bases to his credit.

record, but has him currently ranked second in Division III in the
category. His hit total has him tied for second on the school's
single-season list and he is also in the top 10 in RBIs (third),
batting (10th) and runs scored (10th). For his career, Jakubowski
owns the Delaware Valley record for triples with 15 while his 106
RBIs and 102 hits have him ranked fourth and sixth respectively.
Bobb's all-conference accolade is the first in his four-year career.
He has started 36 games on the field and owns a .346 batting average,
45 hits, four doubles, 22 runs scored and 22 RBIs. Bobb is also
3-1 on the mound and has a .989 fielding percentage. He is currently
ninth on the all-time Aggie list with 131 hits.
Isgro, who was named a second team, all-conference quarterback in
football this season, was honored for his performance both on the
field and on the mound. As an outfielder/designated hitter, he is
currently batting .367 with nine doubles, four triples, two home
runs, 27 runs scored and 27 RBIs. Isgro has also been the ace of
the Delaware Valley pitching staff and has compiled a 6-2 record,

Delaware Valley is 24-17 overall and still hoping for a bid to the
Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) South Region Championships.
Bids are announced on May 12 with the eight-team tournament scheduled
to begin two days later. The Aggies went 8-10, tied for fourth and
qualified for the Freedom Conference playoffs where they dropped
