Gwynedd-Mercy College 10, Delaware Valley College 0

GWYNEDD VALLEY (PA) -- Nine Gwynedd-Mercy College pitchers combined for a three-hit shutout in the Griffins' 10-0 victory over visiting Delaware Valley College in a non-conference game.

It was the last game of the season for the Aggies. They finised 11-22 for their first losing campaign since 1996. Gwynedd-Mercy improved to 26-9 as it heads into the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference playoffs this weekend.

Each of the nine Griffin pitchers went an inning apiece. Sean Middleton started the game and was credited with the win. The Griffins scored six runs over the first three innings and cruised from there. Mark Mattes and Tim McMenamin knocked in two runs apiece.

Zach Jakubowski, Joe Kistler and Joel Porambo notched hits in the loss for the Aggies. Senior Dave Keeler started and allowed seven runs (four earned) over five innings.
