The Alumni Association has been an active and positive force for Delaware Valley University since the association's founding in 1910. More than 14,000 alumni of DelVal around the world hold prominent positions in industry, education and government. Alumni have played a significant role in supporting annual giving, the endowment and scholarships. Throughout the years, alumni have given generously of their time and expertise to further the advancement of their alma mater. Alumni financial support helps insure a sound future for DelVal.
Numerous campus facilities stand as examples of the loyalty of our graduates. Alumni have enthusiastically supported the construction of James Work Memorial Stadium ('1913), Alumni Field, Alumni House, Feldstein Horticulture Science Center ('42 '52), Robert A. Lipinski Field ('80), and Arthur Poley Greenhouse Complex ('54). Other contributions support programming such as the Watson Executive-in-Residence program funded by Thomas A. Watson '57.
Alumni activities such as meetings of the Alumni Association, class reunions, and Homecoming are coordinated by the Director of Alumni Engagement, while annual giving campaigns and class agent leaders are coordinated by the Director of Annual Giving and Advancement Services.
The university publishes "Horizons," a magazine for alumni and friends of the DelVal family, which is available at www.delval.edu/horizons.
The Executive Committee of the Alumni Association meets at least three times a year to develop and discuss alumni programs. Each year the annual business meeting is held during Homecoming Weekend and all alumni are welcome to attend. Elections are held once each year. If you are interested in running for a position on this committee, please contact the Alumni Office at 215.489.2926 or at email@example.com
