The Student Writing Conference at DelVal is an all-inclusive celebration of writing designed to showcase outstanding student writing in all of its various forms and genres. High school students, community college students and DelVal students of every major are encouraged to submit any critical or creative writing—essays, poems, short fiction, etc.—that they are interested in sharing with the campus community on the day of the conference. All local high school and community college students are welcome to participate and attend.

Panel Registration
Students are also encouraged to organize and submit their writing as a panel based on a common course assignment, theme, or topic—that is, groups of 3–4 students may submit and present their work as a team. Consult your professors and advisors for topic ideas.

Location: Life Sciences Building at Delaware Valley University

NOTE: A basic condition for participation in the SWC (and eligibility for prizes) requires students to read/present their work in person on the day of the conference.
