Anything and everything about food

The Department of Food Science, Nutrition, and Management offers a Bachelor of Science degree in food science, a B.S. in restaurant and food service management, and a B.S. in food technology with a specialization in nutrition science.  As a student in the department you will learn about food safety, government regulations, how food is analyzed, and creating new food products, as well as working closely with colleagues and alumni in the local food industry. The food club is very active with dinners at Philadelphia restaurants, community service, and attending meetings of the local section of the Institute of Food Technologists. DelVal offers many work experiences and internship opportunities. If you are interested in any aspect of food, from creation to manufacturing, science, or service, this is the program for you.
