Psychology Minor

DESCRIPTION
The psychology minor at Delaware Valley College prepares students for the rigors of scientific investigation in the field of psychology. The program is designed to provide adequate coursework to proepare students for the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). and to successfully equip students for graduate studies in psychology. The program also allows students stydents majoring fields such as Animal Science, Criminal Justice Administration, Education, or Business the opportunity to develop their understanding of human behavior, thus enhancing their credentials for prospectiv employers or graduate admissions officers. Numerous Delaware Valley College graduates are currently working in the field of psychology, such as hospital psychologists, school counselors, and psychotherapists.

Any student of the college may minor in Psychology by completing 15 credit hours of courses from the following list:

LA4203 Social Psychology and Human Interaction (3 credits)
LA2230/ED2230 Educational Psychology (3 credits)
