Biography
Pike Stephens joined Delaware Valley College in August 2001 after 22 years at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. He teaches organic chemistry, advanced organic chemistry, organic analysis, and separation methods, and has developed a molecular modeling laboratory for use in various chemistry courses.
He is an active member of the college community, serving on the Curriculum (co-chair), Core Curriculum and New Faculty Orientation committees and has served on the Faculty Council. He is also very active with the Student Affiliate Chapter of the American Chemistry Society and was selected Advisor of the Year for 2004-2005.
Stephens is also active with the Central Bucks School District, offering week-long summer workshops in chemistry for juniors and seniors in the district, and received the Harleysville National Bank and Trust Company Great Professorship Award in 2004.
