Biography

Ermira Gegvata began her employment with Delaware Valley College in 2006 as an adjunct instructor and in 2007 as a full time one-year lecturer.

Prior to her teaching position at Delaware Valley College, she worked for Thermo Fisher Scientific, an international, multibillion dollar biopharmaceutical company, as part of the Consolidation Group.

Gegvata worked for several years in public accounting with Ernst & Young LLP, serving in the Advisory and Assurance Group. During the years at Ernst & Young, she served a variety of clients in various industries, including Lincoln National Corporation, PPL Corporation, Sunoco, Charles Schwab & Co and Delaware Management Holdings.

At DelVal, she serves as the advisor of the SIFE (Students In Free Enterprise) business club and President of the Sigma Beta Delta Chapter (International Honor Society in Business, Management, and Administration).
